| Some ideas for your flipcharts |

It’s fun to add a picture or flashcard to a flipchart to reinforce a message. Here are a few to get you started. We’ve deliberately looked for versions that are easy to draw – but you can, of course, print them and make a set of flashcards for yourself. Ideas: The light bulb is so versatile and is instantly recognisable as a creative thinking icon. Time to change: The butterfly is the universal symbol of metamorphosis and change. You can add all the stages of metamorphosis to the flipchart or to a series of flipcharts if you like. That can add more interest to the message. Have fun: Dolphins symbolise joy and fun – and can look delightful hooping their way across a flipchart. Take a risk: Taking a risk means sticking your neck out – and the giraffe is a good symbol to use if you want to make this point. Remember: Elephants are almost a cliché for remembering, but everyone knows the adage that elephants never forget. Add an elephant to a flipchart listing key points to remember.
